welcome to malik mursaleen and to my review of the bissell clean view swivel pet 2252 upright vacuum it's literally one of the best selling vacuums online and I finally got around to testing it this week I wanted to find out first if the the only reason it was popular was because of its ultra cheap price or it had some actually good qualities and second I wanted to see if there were any obvious problems with it and who if anyone should consider buying it and I have to say I was so impressed with the results that it made me rethink being such a snob when it comes to cheaper vacuums like these so links in the description  and let's get started starting off with  the pros, of course, we have its price it's very inexpensive but with upright vacuums cheap doesn't usually equal value because up to this point all of the upright vacuums I've tested in this The price range has been pretty awful but this one also has really good reviews online so it's a strange combination one of the reasons I think people like it is that it has a lot of features that vacuums in this price range usually don't for example as its name suggests it has a two axis swivel which is a more the modern feature that makes a huge difference with usability in my opinion and I can't ever remember seeing a swivel on a vacuum this cheap it has a pretty decent attachment set that you would typically not see with a vacuum in this price range includes a suction powered turbo tool there's also this feature which shows you if there's a suction blockage and I don't know why I haven't seen this before but I really like it it's one of the more useful  features i've seen on an upright vacuum because if you see it's being blocked you can clean the filters or clear the blockage to get back to its optimal suction one small feature that's a big the deal is a little squeegee on the bottom   helps create a better seal on hard floors which you can see from the really good showing on the crevice pickup test that it did but these squeegees are also crucial if you want to vacuum hard floors without scattering debris or turning the brush roll off one of the reasons I've never liked vacuums this cheap is that I can't normally recommend them for people with hard floors because they scatter debris which is the opposite of what you would want when you're vacuuming but the clean view  swivel pet in part because of that  squeegee did extremely well with hard floors not only picking up various sizes of debris with minimal adjustment on the height which is rare but it did well  with super fine debris and heavy debris  like cat litter too and not to sound like a broken record but it's not very common for cheap vacuums to do well with those things with carpets it was even better it had the same great pickup ability with even less height adjustment needed but with carpets, i also do a deep clean test where I embed sand into medium carpet and weigh the bend before and after to see how much it picked up and it got a perfect 100 which is above average I tested its power in a variety of ways suction at the hose unsealed suction at the head as well as airflow at the hose and head and found that it was about average which may not sound great but average is really good when you consider that the majority of vacuums I've tested are more than double this price so I consider these power numbers a big pro considering its competition both its overall weight and handle weight were lighter than average  and when combined with the swivel it has  a really high ease of use scores it had a fairly long six-foot hose which seemed to be of good quality which you can use for a variety of above floor cleaning jobs I give its construction a pro overall I also ran it for 20 minutes looking for hot spots with the infrared camera but other than the motor and the belt reaching high temperatures as expected everything looked good but of course it can't all be good stuff so what are the problems with buying a vacuum this cheap for me it's mostly about filtration, this is where my snobbery comes in I love sealed help filtration systems on vacuums where you won't be smelling anything when you vacuum it's one of the more modern advancements that I just really like and the clean view swivel pet doesn't have it but I don't know of a single vacuum in this price range that does have it so it's hard to knock off points it was also a little louder than average in my test getting 84 decibels when the average is about 81. the cord was 27 feet about 3 feet shorter than average you have to make sure that the handle is tilted correctly or it will come off the floor which is noticeable when trying to vacuum underneath furniture I found that it would scatter debris on hard floors at the highest height adjustment levels I eventually settled on the middle height setting which seemed to be a good mix for pretty much any surface or debris type without scattering debris the turbo brush is not as powerful as others probably because the hose suction is just so so and it will stop if you put too much pressure on it but those are all pretty nitpicky things, all in all, I was impressed with this little vacuum it's great with hard floors and carpet it has way more features than you  would expect it's excellent in terms of  ease
