channel, we do two malik mursaleen Engadget reviews and recently skylight reached out to us and said if we send you these will you check them out and review them so of course I said yes we'll review them I'll put links in the description below so you can check them out for yourself now let's take a look in the box is a 10-inch frame a post pick power cord and  a wall plug setup was quick and I didn't  run into any snags you can either hang this on a wall with this little hole here or you can use this post as a stand you plug the power cord into the back and then we plug the USB into the wall plug and the wall plug gets plugged into power once it boots up select your Wi-Fi enter the password if it has one and then go online with your phone or a computer and what you're going to do is use an email address and a phone number to set it up and register the unit all you have to do is click through a couple  little things and then pick an email  address at our skylight comm that people use to send photos to your frame it's pretty much that simple they're gonna give you a six digit number you enter that in here and you're good to go everything's set for you back to the question could this be the perfect gift nearly everyone has a camera on them at all times imagine if your friends your brothers your sister your mom dad or grandma have this in their house and you could send pictures to them anytime you wanted it has that personal touch to it on a birthday you can send them a special picture with balloons if you're on vacation, you could show them what's going on anywhere in the world so how does this work you simply take a picture and then via your phone or a computer you attach that picture in an email email the frame and it's going to go through the internet through your Wi-Fi system and end up right on the frame right there simple as that you can be anywhere in the world and do this as long as you get an internet connection and the other thing is it takes only about a minute for that whole process from your phone through the internet to the Wi-Fi system to the frame to occur pretty cool just thought of this wouldn't this be a really wedding presents you could have a setup at the reception, anyone could take candid photos give everyone the email address of this frame and the couple  could go home with their brand-new set  of memories of their big day in case you're concerned that just anyone can send your photos to this frame you can set it up where I'll only accept photos from email addresses that you approve just for fun until December 15 2019 I'm gonna open this up you can send me images that will show up on this frame at the friendly reviewer at our skylight comm they'll show up right here and please keep it appropriate it has 8 gigabytes of memory which means it can hold about 8,000 photos now you may be wondering if there are that many photos on it how am I going to know when a new and arise there's actually a little notification to arrive at the bottom that you just click on and it's going to show you the new pictures and if you want to you can also hit the little heart at the bottom and it's going to send them an email back letting them know that you liked it so a cool little feedback mechanism through the email chain personally as a photographer I do like prints of amazing photos but they're not always feasible sometimes it just cost too much to get them printed there might be too many to get them printed and you might just take  fun photos that aren't print worthy but  are worth displaying and this is a great option to do that there are a lot of options and settings that you can use if you want to you can pause on a certain photo you can change the speed of the slideshow you can bring up the gallery so you can see all the different photos to select from you can change how bright it is how dumb it is let me talk about the premium features if you're willing to spend thirty-nine dollars a year there is no annual fee for the skylight frame but if you want to I can pay 39 dollars a year for the plus premium features and what this is going to give you is the ability to put videos on there are so short videos you can also do things such as downloading all the images off on the cloud as a backup you can also get access to an app that's going to allow you to send them directly to the frame and other features like that again link in the description below for more details  one note if you do the video I did  notice there's an option whether it plays by default with or without audio if you have friends that like hijinks I would probably not play them by default with the audio on just a tip there are a ton of other things you could do with this you could use it for a business as a sign you could use as a menu at a party and just a little note once the images are on there you don't have to be connected to Wi-Fi they're just stored on the unit so don't worry about that you could use them for a team for people to collect images together and share with each other, the options are really endless let me know in the comments below is what
